after max has a bath or shower, there’s a routine…he towels off, on go the speedracer undies, mousse in the hair (and all over the floor), teeth get brushed, and finally i clean the ears. i asked him tonight which ear he’d like done first. he thought for a second and then said, “well, which side of the road is taco bell (his favorite eating establishment of all time) on?” i told him that coming from our house, it’s on the left. he replied, “ok, then do the right ear first, because the left is my favorite and i want to save it for last.”
man, do i love this weird, gorgeous, hilarious kid.
